I think some of the chosen words and pictures to go with certain letters (O and S for example) follow a theme that may confuse children about other words that go with the letter. I rated this 4/5 stars for two reasons: 1. I think this book would be best suited for around Kindergarten age students to aid in their learning of the alphabet, but it could be enjoyed by any age. It turns out both books (as well as many others about this old lady) are by the same author, Lucille Colandro and illustrator Jared Lee. I was intrigued to read this book because I remember a story that was read to me when I was little about an old lady swallowing a fly. This was a pretty imaginative and creative book that listed all the letters of the alphabet that a supposed old lady swallowed, as well as several words that started with the letter each page was dedicated to.
